sPARK Fitness Center
The sPARK Fitness Center operates as a central node for wellness and performance within the broader context of a life sciences and technology campus.
As a programmatic extension of the sPARK Life Sciences campus in Morrisville, NC, the Fitness Center consolidates spaces for training, recovery, and social interaction along a singular circulation axis. The facility responds to the operational requirements of a contemporary workplace, integrating wellness as an infrastructural element within the campus.

A mural spans the length of the facility, functioning as a visual spine and orientation device. Facing a transparent facade, the mural is visible from both interior workout zones and across the campus, establishing identity, directing flow, and registering movement within the building.

The program supports a full spectrum of use. Functional fitness, strength training, cardio, and digital platforms are balanced by recovery and restoration spaces. Dedicated zones for cryotherapy, massage, and stretching are differentiated through material shifts, acoustic control, and calibrated lighting.
