Hanbury Moves to Richmond’s Fan District
A new home on West Main Street supports the Richmond team’s growth and maintains its connection to the city’s arts community.
Hanbury’s Richmond office has relocated to 1623 West Main Street in the Fan District. Occupying nearly 12,000 square feet in the former Try-Me Gallery, the new space accommodates a growing team and provides more room for collaboration and engagement.
Since opening on Broad Street in 2022, the Richmond team has tripled in size and expanded its project scope. Recent design work includes the VCU School of Dentistry and the mixed-use development at 3200 West Moore Street in Scott’s Addition, along with the Karsh Institute of Democracy at the University of Virginia.

“We wanted a place where our team could grow while maintaining the connection to Richmond’s arts community that we’ve built on Broad Street,” said Richmond Office Leader Sarah Rosenblatt. “The former gallery gave us the opportunity to do both.”
Exhibitions and community gatherings will continue the programming established on Broad Street. The first exhibition in the new space, Dopamine, features works by mother-daughter artists Annabel Wrigley and Ruby Wrigley.
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, October 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. to view the exhibition and see the new space.
