Rhodes College West Village

The new West Village at Rhodes College, housing 141 upperclassmen in single and double-room occupancy suites, has swiftly become the top residential choice for seniors, eclipsing other campus accommodations. This sought-after residence features comprehensive amenities, including laundry facilities on every floor, diverse communal social spaces highlighted by two cozy fireplaces, and a shared, open kitchen, promoting a vibrant community atmosphere.

The project is a continuation of the 2000 Campus Master Plan, and encompasses the thoughtful planning, programming, and design of this suite-style community alongside the renovation of the adjacent Burrow Refectory. These enhancements not only elevate the residential experience for upperclassmen, but also introduce timeless, welcoming food service venues, a new quad for enhanced campus connectivity, and a refreshed campus entrance.
